Each fall season, there’s always that one coat that catches your eye. You save it, heart it, leave it sitting in your shopping cart for weeks. You even go and try it on in store, but leave empty handed because you want to be extra sure it’s the one. I pretty much followed that exact routine with this dusty rose Theory coat. I didn’t want to jump the gun, just in case something better came along as more fall pieces started to trickle out. After realizing this was by far my favorite coat that had come out this season, I went for it.
The color of the coat is even more beautiful in person. And dare I might say, even my favorite shade of pink? Yes, possibly above blush. It is, after all, the same shade as our beloved pink couch (she arrives to Charleston tomorrow!). I’m wearing the slightly oversized trench style, but it also comes in a shorter style at Bergdorf Goodman, which is great as a lighter option for fall/winter. You really can’t go wrong with either option since they’re both in this ‘pink willow’ shade. Theory also made a pair of trousers in the same shade, which would look gorgeous with a cream sweater for work.
And since I can’t get enough of this shade, I also got these Paul Andrew flats in the same color, pairing perfectly with my coat (as well as most of my wardrobe). I also love this pair of pink loafers, these rose colored sunglasses, this pink pleated dress as well as this embellished one, which are all just as tempting, especially if you’re on a permanent pink kick like me.
