Express Romper c/o, Chanel Flats, Coach Bag c/o
It’s a lucky day when we can pull out shorts, a romper or even a sun dress during the summer in San Francisco. Mark Twain did say “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” It’s no joke when the wind picks up and the fog rolls in, but on a nice still day, when the sun’s out… you really can’t beat it! You’ll see everyone out picnicking in the parks, trying to get their tan on or playing with their dogs outside, it’s quintessential summer in the city.
On days like those, I’ll bring out my summeriest items to take full advantage of getting to wear them. Case in point, this white embroidered romper from Express. It’s easy and simple, chic and feminine and a complete outfit in one. I paired it with a few navy accessories and a messy last-minute side braid for a relaxed summer look.
This embroidered romper is from the Express Edition Collection that just recently launched. It’s actually made out of a faux leather that has the prettiest sheen to it, creating a beautiful mix of masculine and feminine. They have a shorts version here that looks super chic when paired with a cream blazer and tank. This tiered high neck dress in a dandelion print is also a favorite of mine from the collection.
